A major public library has chosen to host its open source digital repository application with a popular cloud service.

The Northern Territory Library is the Northern Territory's major reference and research Library, responsible for collecting, preserving and providing access to the Territory’s documentary heritage. The library has been using the DSpace V1.5 open source digital repository software to house its collections of images, audio, video and historical records.

Prosentient Systems has recently completed an upgrade of the library's DSpace to Version 4.2, redeveloped the XML interface and relocated the hosting of the site to Amazon's Cloud service.  The site is publicly accessible at http://territorystories.nt.gov.au.
