IP Australia is an Australian governmental agency which is responsible for the administration of legislation and rights for intellectual property, including the rights for trademarks, designs, and patents. They also administer commercial rights for registered plants. IP Australia provides advice and expertise to governmental and business agencies in order for organisations to make the best use of their own intellectual property. Prosentient Systems provides services hosting an online catalog of books, articles, and other texts relating to intellectual property in Australia and worldwide, through Koha, an open source library management system.
