Cookies information

You can add information about cookies to your OPAC, with a banner and policy.

OPAC cookie banner with the text 'The online catalog uses functional cookies: these are essential to make the site work.' and two buttons: 'Accept essential cookies' and 'More information'.

From the cookie banner, users have the option to accept essential cookies or to view more information. When they click ‘More information’, the Cookies policy pops up.

The cookie banner will be displayed on all pages until the user accepts cookies.

To set up cookie information:

Check whether you use non-essential cookies on your site.

Check for analytics tracking code in the OpacUserJS system preference.

Move any tracking code you have to the CookieConsentedJS system preference.

Decide what text you want displayed on the cookie banner: add it to the CookieConsentBar HTML customization.

Decide what content you want for the Cookies policy pop-up: add it to the CookieConsentPopup HTML customization.

Switch the CookieConsent system preference to ‘Require’ and check the result.
